Ms. Barghout is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of San Diego, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 2002. She also graduated magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009, earning her Juris Doctorate. Ms. Barghout has been a member of the California State Bar since 2009.

Ms. Barghout is the founder of Barghout Law Group, A.P.C. in San Diego where she has been practicing for nearly a decade as the Managing Attorney. Since entering the legal profession, Ms. Barghout has been dedicated to providing exceptional legal services. In her role at Barghout Law Group, A.P.C., Ms. Barghout specializes in personal injury law where she helps those facing unexpected injuries or the loss of a loved one. Ms. Barghout’s firm goes beyond legal representation by offering immediate medical treatment without upfront costs through specialized providers, allowing clients to focus solely on recovery. Barghout Law Group, APC was founded by Sahar Barghout. Sahar was born and raised in San Diego where she was brought up with a passion for helping others. This passion drove Sahar to become a lawyer.

Sahar first attended the University of San Diego where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. From there, she went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University – Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

After passing the California bar, Sahar worked as an associate at a civil law firm in Orange County, California for over 4 years. Afterwards, she worked as a misdemeanor prosecutor for the City of Los Angeles. Then finally, she came back home to start her own firm in 2014.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Barghout gained valuable experience with esteemed judges and at prestigious law offices. She clerked for Honorable Judge Joseph Farah, in Flint Michigan (2008) and Honorable Judge Cheri Pham, in Orange California (2011). She served as an Associate at the Law Offices of Briggs and Alexander in Anaheim, CA, from 2009 to 2013, focusing on business transactions and civil litigation and also served as a Reserve Deputy City Attorney at the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, from 2013 to 2014, where she tried misdemeanor cases.

During her legal education, Ms. Barghout excelled academically, earning Book Awards in key subjects such as Contracts I, Torts II, Research and Writing, and Advanced Writing. She was also an Associate Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, showcasing her commitment to legal scholarship and writing. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Barghout is actively involved in community outreach efforts. She has volunteered with organizations such as the Public Law Center in Orange County and Catholic Charities’ Refugee and Immigration Services in San Diego, demonstrating her dedication to serving the community and making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.
